(The Center Square) – Just two days after California senators announced an $11.25 billion housing bond bill, the Assembly and Senate passed the bond that's designed to help veterans keep a roof over their heads and keep housing affordable for everyone.

The bill now heads to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk before it heads to the November ballot for California voters to approve or reject.
