A newly deployed Special Marked Patrol Vehicle is displayed at the California Highway Patrol office in El Centro, as part of the agency’s initiative to curb dangerous driving statewide.
The El Centro Area CHP office will be moving from its current location, 2331 Highway 86, Imperial, to 2802 South 4th Street, El Centro, on Friday, August 21.Â
The current El Centro Area office will be open during business hours during the move, and the new Area office will be open for business at 0800 hours on Monday, August 24, 2026.Â
The Area’s phone numbers will remain the same. An Open House will be scheduled in October.Â
