(Sac City) -- A Shenandoah man has pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of a Manning woman earlier this month.

Court records indicate an attorney for 27-year-old Joshua Lehman entered a written plea of not guilty last week on a charge of 1st-degree murder. He also waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Lehman was arrested on August 2nd after police found 27-year-old Rylie-Shea Muhlbauer dead from a gunshot wound at a house in Lake View. He is currently being held on no bond in the Sac County Jail. He is scheduled for arraignment on August 31st at 9 a.m. Judge Angela L. Doyle has been appointed to oversee the case.
