Bossier High School teacher and librarian Stacy Smith celebrates 41 years at same facility. 

BOSSIER CITY, La. -- Stacy Smith has spent more than four decades at Bossier High School, where she began as a student teacher and never left.

Smith started her teaching career in the 1980s after completing her student teaching at the school. She was offered a job as a substitute teacher before joining the staff full-time, teaching English.
