A new ordinance will keep three areas on Bossier City roads quieter with motor vehicle noise regulation

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Caddo Parish Special Projects Committee reviewed proposed updates to the parish noise ordinance Monday, but members took no formal action.

The commissioner who authored the proposed ordinance was absent. During the review, parish attorney Donna Frazier noted that neighboring Bossier Parish enforces more restrictive noise regulations. Frazier explained that updating local ordinances requires scientific data and objective consultant studies.
