SHREVEPORT, La. — Caddo Parish Juvenile Services celebrated a new milestone this month with the grand opening of a garden located at the juvenile court.
The project is designed to focus on the rehabilitation of youth who have entered the legal system. Local leaders stated the garden provides a way for children to actively work toward their future goals.
According to officials, the garden serves as a physical symbol of personal progress. They emphasized that the work entrusted to them by citizens is critical to the community, noting a commitment to seeing every child reach their full potential.
The program is built on the goal of turning difficult circumstances into opportunities for positive growth through hands-on work and responsibility.
