SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport Police are investigating after an overnight shooting at an apartment complex sent an adult man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This happened at around 5 a.m. on Sunday at the Villa Del Lago Apartments on Milam Street.
Police were called to the area to investigate a report of shots being fired. When officer's arrived, they found that two cars had been hit by bullets and that there was also damage to some of the apartments. Officers initially believe no one had been injured.
The only victim was an adult man who had left the scene in a private vehicle, before police arrived, on its way to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - Academic Medical Center.
The victim had a bullet wound on their right thigh. We're told the injuries are non-life threatening.
