SHREVEPORT, La. -Â Shreveport police are asking for the public's help locating a wanted man identified after a dangerous vehicle pursuit.
Police say the the suspect is Larry Sudds Jr., 29.
According to police, an officer spotted a white Dodge Charger being driven carelessly in the 2000 block of Marshall Street near a local bar on July 25.
The officer attempted a traffic stop, but police said the driver ran shortly after contact was made.
Police said the driver traveled at a high rate of speed through neighborhood streets before the pursuit continued onto Interstate 20 West. The driver eventually escaped.
Investigators later identified Sudds as the driver and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Sudds is wanted on charges of aggravated flight from an officer, resisting an officer and careless operation.
Anyone with information about Sudds' whereabouts is asked to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers.
