SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Detectives are actively investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the downtown area.
Detectives are attempting to identify a male suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a female victim. The suspect is believed to frequent the downtown area and appears to be homeless.
Investigators are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or have any information related to this case to contact the Shreveport Police Department immediately. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could be critical to this investigation.
