SHREVEPORT, La. – Celebrating its 10th anniversary at LSU Shreveport, the LaPixel Academy summer camp continues to help teenagers develop their skills, and director Allen Garcie noted that watching students grow through collaboration remains his favorite part of the program.

This summer, 17 teens gathered in the digital arts computer lab at LSUS for the four-week program, where they mastered foundational tools like Photoshop and GameMaker Studio before launching their own mini gaming studios.
