Gov. Mike Kehoe announced Monday afternoon Budget Director Dan Haug will retire, effective Oct. 1. Haug has 31 years of state government service, including 11 years in the budget director position, according to a news release from the Governor's communication office.

"Dan has served in this important role under multiple administrations with unwavering integrity and professionalism," Kehoe said in the news release. "His deep understanding of the state budget has provided valuable guidance to state leaders and decision-makers throughout the ups and downs of Missouri's budget landscape."
