KALISPELL, Mont. - A 28-year-old pedestrian was killed on Saturday after being hit by a Ford F-150 on U.S. 2, according to Montana Highway Patrol (MHP).Â
MHP said an 18-year-old was driving the Ford westbound just before 3:00 a.m. and activated the vehicle's high beams. The high beams lit up a pedestrian in the roadway, who was then hit by the front driver side bumper of the car and rolled into oncoming traffic.Â
The pedestrian was wearing all black clothing and not visible, MHP said in a press release.Â
No one inside the vehicle was injured, including both passengers.Â
This article was updated on June 15 at 8:24 p.m. after Montana Highway Patrol sent an updated press release correcting the pedestrian's age from 20 to 28. Originally published June 15 at 8:02 a.m.Â
