Chelsea Hogan is a local tour guide who spent time researching women of Butte to put together a historical tour.

BUTTE, Mont. — A new Uptown Butte tour is giving people a closer look at the city’s red-light district and the research behind it.

Chelsea Hogan, owner and founder of Montana Wonder Tours, said her work started with a deeper interest in the women tied to Butte’s past. She also described herself as a historian and said that interest grew while she worked on a tour of the Mining City.
