Fire crews responding to Battle Ridge Fire in Custer Gallatin National Forest

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Battle Ridge Fire, which ignited Thursday to the west of Highway 86 near Brackett Creek Trailhead, has spread to an estimated size of roughly 3 acres, according to officials with Custer Gallatin National Forest.

Members of the public are urged to avoid the Brackett Creek Trail area as firefighters work around the scene of the blaze.
