BIG SKY, Mont. — A stretch of the Gallatin River near Markley Bridge has reopened after an emergency closure tied to a U.S. Forest Service bridge replacement project, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Park (FWP) announced.

The closure had been in place for public safety during parts of the Markley Bridge replacement work, which started in March.
