HELENA, Mont. – Following the Last Chance Stampede & Fair in Helena, the Exchange Club of Helena volunteers raised funds to help non-profit organizations and the community.
“We poured drinks, shared laughs, built friendships, and showed up for Helena,” Kristin Chaney, President-Elect of the Exchange Club of Helena shared.
The Exchange Club’s volunteers worked throughout the Stampede, and every purchased beverage at their stall helped fund the community service carried out by the organization all year. The generosity of the community provided direct support to local nonprofits and organizations making a difference in Helena.
Nearly $8,000 was raised by the community at the 2026 Last Chance Stampede and fair. More than $2,300 was raised during Friday’s Purple Night for The Friendship Center, which supports survivors of domestic violence and raises awareness in the community.
The generosity this year brought a total of more than $76,000 awarded to the local nonprofits and organizations over the past four years.
Beyond the events, the Exchange Club worked together to make communities better through programs in community service, youth activities, and prevention of child abuse. Volunteers have helped provide clothing for children, honored fire fighters and law enforcements, recognized veterans and awarded youth scholarships and ACE awards to deserving students.
