A Livingston victim shared her story of a scam that cost her $2,000 when a scam call convinced her that her daughter had been kidnapped.

LIVINGSTON, Mont. — A Livingston woman is sharing how a virtual kidnapping scam call led her to send $2,000 after callers claimed they had her daughter.

Victoria Bond said she usually ignores suspicious calls, especially ones tied to her Utah area code since she has lived in Montana for ten years now; but this call felt different because the caller used her daughter Brittany’s name.
