KALISPELL, Mont. - The Kalispell Police Department (KPD) is investigating the death of 62-year-old woman who was found dead inside her residence when police attempted to do a welfare check. KPD said in a press release that "based on the circumstances encountered, the death is being investigated as suspicious."Â
KPD officers first arrived to conduct a welfare check at Julie Brandner's home on 11st Avenue West on the morning of July 3. Details about the circumstances of his death were not shared.Â
"Although we understand the public may have numerous questions regarding this case, at this time, no additional information is being released in order to protect the integrity of the investigation," KPD said. "There is no known threat to the public."Â
