MISSOULA, Mont. — Caregivers and state Sen. Ellie Boldman are set to rally in Missoula over pay and staffing concerns for in-home care workers.
The rally is scheduled for July 14 at the Missoula Labor Temple, where members of SEIU 775 plan to call for fair pay, improved staffing levels and an end to five months of delays. They also plan to push for negotiations on guaranteed raises.
Caregivers said low wages and staffing shortages are affecting care for seniors and people with disabilities across Montana.
They said their proposals have remained on the bargaining table without meaningful discussion from All Ways Caring MT.
NonStop Local reached out to All Ways Caring MT for comment and will update this story if a response is received.
