A 20-year-old Bozeman man was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as part of an operation that allegedly swept up several others in Gallatin County.  

David Cortes-Torres was held at an ICE holding room at federal facility near the Helena Regional Airport for more than 24 hours before being transferred to the Cascade County Detention Center, according to documents filed by his attorney, Upper Seven Law's Andres Haladay, who is now fighting in federal court for his release.
