A data center developer announced Wednesday they had established an agreement with local labor unions for its planned 1,100-megawatt data center north of Billings near Broadview.

Quantica hopes to build a data center and power plant that will connect with the power substation near Broadview, Montana.

The memorandum is preliminary in nature as elements of the data center remain undetermined. Riley McCauley, vice president of a southeastern Montana trades council, told the Billings Gazette that the agreement outlines Quantica creating high standards for wages and benefits among other key points.
