While an effort to regulate data centers in Yellowstone County via a ballot initiative is over, opposition to the contested projects is as loud as ever.

A few dozen county residents, as well as some political candidates, showed up at a Tuesday morning meeting and told Yellowstone County Commissioners that they want local officials to do assert more oversight of data center projects, including one north of Billings.
