A Yellowstone County judge sentenced a man to 80 years in prison for beating a 62-year-old amputee, tying him up, torching his trailer then leaving him to burn to death.

Justin Alexander Hosey

Justin Alexander Hosey, 33, was booked into Yellowstone County Detention Facility on suspicion of deliberate homicide in connection to a trailer fire May 10, 2025.

Justin Alexander Hosey admitted to several people that he killed Michael Lee Huston leading up to his arrest in May 2025. At the 34-year-old’s sentencing Friday, county prosecutors argued that Hosey bragged about the homicide. They also accused Hosey of goading a teenage boy into assisting him in Huston’s murder. That teen is currently facing a deliberate homicide by accountability charge.
