A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Montana Highway 1 on Friday morning in Anaconda.

Montana Highway Patrol responded at approximately 5 a.m. between mile markers 6 and 7, where a Ford Mustang going southbound struck a pedestrian, who was pronounced dead on the scene, according to an MHP spokesperson.
