New data center applications to Missoula County could be halted starting next month if the Board of Missoula County Commissioners adopts interim zoning regulations, although a data center proposal in Bonner would be allowed to continue. 

The commissioners will decide on the proposal on Thursday, July 9 at 2 p.m., which would place a one-year moratorium on new data center applications, according to a presentation made by county staff on Monday.
