Montana welcomed 13.2 million visitors in 2025, which is 4% less than the all-time record of 13.79 million people who traveled here in 2024.

But last year, those tourists spent a combined $5.6 billion across the state, which is considerably more than the $4.93 billion that tourists spent in 2024, according to a report released this summer by the Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research at the University of Montana.
