A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will arrive in Billings this week, bringing with it a space for remembrance, education and, for some veterans and families, long-delayed healing.

The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter-scale replica of the memorial in Washington, D.C. created by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and debuted on Veterans Day in 1996, will be open to the public in Billings July 2 through July 5 at Will James Middle School. This free exhibit will remain open 24 hours a day until it closes at 2 p.m. Sunday.
