Members of the Montana Republican Party on Monday nominated Ted Kronebusch as a replacement candidate for Senate District 9, even as a lawsuit filed by current candidate Rep. Llew Jones to stay on the ballot is ongoing. 

Kronebusch is chairman of the Pondera County Republican Central Committee and a close friend of Jones for decades. Both are longtime businessmen from Conrad.
