GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Montanans over 55 are being asked about senior services and needs to help identify challenges impacting older adults.
The State of Montana requested the Area Agencies across the state to reach out to communities for the 2026 Community Survey for Older Adults.Â
Households selected were recently sent a green postcard that invites household members to participate in the survey. The QR code on the postcard can be scanned to fill out online, or a paper survey can be completed and mailed in with a postage-paid return envelope.Â
Responses from residents will help better understand the needs of the community, and find the greatest challenges and needs for older adults in Montana communities. This includes local employment, volunteer opportunities, housing, accessibility, mobility and physical and mental health.
All responses will be kept confidential, including personal information and responses. This information will be safely stored by Polco, a trusted community engagement research firm based out of Denver, Colorado.
The survey itself was reported to only take a few minutes at most to complete.Â
