MISSOULA, Mont. — Mountain Line’s new Route 10 in Missoula will begin July 6 and connect Franklin, the Fort and downtown every half-hour from Monday through Saturday.
The agency said the route will give riders direct access from the Downtown Transfer Center to housing and services along Wyoming Street, the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center and neighborhoods near Franklin Elementary School.
Route 10 will run from 5:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Saturdays. This will be its first higher-frequency Saturday service, Mountain Line said in a release.

Mountain Line explained Route 10 came out of its 2024 service planning process, which looked at ridership patterns, accessibility and transit needs across the system as part of a cost-neutral service update.
The July service update also includes more frequent service to the Northside on Route 3 and adds mid-day service to East Missoula on a new Route 4S, which will complement the existing Route 4 to Bonner.
Schedules, maps and updates about the Route 8 closure and Route 12 schedule change are available through Mountain Line’s maps and schedules page.
