Democratic gubernatorial candidate Attorney General Aaron Ford says as governor he will pause the state’s tax breaks for new data centers to make sure Nevadans are getting their money’s worth. 

“Data centers are swarming into Nevada communities, draining our water, and jacking up our energy bills – and Joe Lombardo is handing them Nevadans’ tax money to do it,” reads a position paper released by Ford’s campaign Wednesday.
