Volunteers replace siding on an Antes Fort home as part of a recent Home Preservation Program supported by grant funding from Members 1st Charitable Foundation
This funding would provide a tremendous benefit to the nonprofit’s Home Preservation program, which helps qualifying individuals, primarily seniors, maintain and continue living at home.
The Home Preservation program helps very low- and low-income homeowners with minor exterior repairs and rehabilitation on homes that they own and use as a primary residence within rural parts of Lycoming County. For more details on the Home Preservation program and how to pre-apply, visit lycominghabitat.org/hpp.
The public is invited to comment by contacting Dana Brigandi, Habitat’s director of development, at 570-322-3515 or by mail within 15 days of this announcement, before the Sept. 8 application deadline.
The public may also view the statement of activities for this grant at the Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 335 Rose St., Williamsport, during its business hours. The store is open on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
