State, federal, and local officials unveiled the new I-99 signs in a stretch of Route 15 spanning from Williamsport to Tioga County

Tioga, Pa. — PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll joined federal, state, and local officials in Tioga to celebrate the official designation of Interstate 99 (I-99) on July 30.

The route consists of a 62-mile portion of U.S. Route 15. The newly-designated interstate, which will be co-signed as both I-99 and U.S. 15, is located between the I-180 interchange in the City of Williamsport in Lycoming County and the N.Y./Pa. state line in Tioga County.
