Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a Waterford Township man who is wanted on an active arrest warrant related to a Protection From Abuse (PFA) violation.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Erie Station, troopers are investigating a PFA violation that reportedly occurred on August 6, at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Waterford Borough, Erie County. The suspect has been identified as Austin Rodrigo Ramirez, a resident of Waterford Township.
Authorities stated that Ramirez has an active arrest warrant stemming from the incident. State police noted that he is known to flee from law enforcement when contacted and is believed to frequent both Waterford Borough and Waterford Township.
Police also reported that Ramirez is currently out on bail for multiple pending charges, including Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement, Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and a prior PFA Violation.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding Ramirez's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Trooper N. Beringo of the Pennsylvania State Police Erie Station at (814) 898-1641.
