Bonham has high hopes with new head coach Aaron Ford
BONHAM, Texas (KTEN) - "Come give us a shot; it's different. We are building a championship culture. There's no different kids here than I've coached in my whole career, and I've told these boys that. They've got to believe in themselves before winning starts happening."
Ford comes from Celina High School with gold on his hand from state titles, now looks to rub that off on Bonham, and the players believe Ford is the answer and can make them built tough.
"My big thing coming here was no preconceived notions. I didn't really want to know what happened; I didn't care what the record was. I just knew this was where I was supposed to be and where I was supposed to plant the seeds of my legacy and build a program I know works, and we have had a blast doing that."
"Just high intensity; wants us to bring as much intensity as we can, as much effort as we can. No walking, no nothing. It's just a lot different from last year. Everybody's intensity is up, and everybody is buying into it. Just working hard and ready for the season"

"My expectations are to make playoffs and prove everybody wrong. We're predicted last in the district, so I think that's going to fuel us this season."
"Our expectations are just to go 5-5, but I want to go 10-0. I want every single game won. I want to go to the playoffs and go a couple rounds deep in there. Even if we could, win it. Just step-by-step building; I mean, I'm just excited to see what it brings us."
