(The Center Square) – After Gov. Greg Abbott issued two data center directives, several data center companies and other large companies said they will comply. One dropped its plans to build a data center, stating it couldn’t comply.

On Friday, Abbott said SkyboxDigital Realty, Mara and QTS Data Centers will comply with the standards and guidelines he established for data centers. Amazon, Google and Chevron have also said they support his standards and plan to comply, he said.
