(The Center Square) - A Puyallup high school wrestler who said she was sexually assaulted by a male who identifies as female during a match last December is asking a federal judge to step in.

Kallie Keeler, who now is 16, along with her mother are suing the school district, as well as state education officials and the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association claiming the policies that allow transgender athletes to compete in girls and women’s sports violate Title IX.
