Albemarle Corporation ALB remains committed to driving shareholder value by leveraging solid liquidity and healthy cash flows. At the end of the second quarter of 2026, it had liquidity of around $3.2 billion, including cash and cash equivalents of around $1.6 billion. ALB generated an operating cash flow of $710 million and free cash flow of $638 million in the second quarter. Operating cash flow for the first half nearly doubled year over year to roughly $1.1 billion.   

Free cash flow in 2026 is expected to be supported by strong cash conversion and productivity measures. ALB delivered $100 million in cost and productivity improvements in the first half of 2026 and expects to attain the top end of its $100-$150 million target for 2026. It achieved an operating cash flow conversion of 83% in the second quarter. First-half 2026 conversion was at the high end of its long-term target range of 60-70%.
