Weyerhaeuser Company WY delivered a second-quarter 2026 earnings beat as lumber and engineered wood products improved, but the recovery was not broad-based. Total adjusted EBITDA still trailed the year-ago quarter as weaker Timberlands and Strategic Land Solutions contributions offset gains in Wood Products.

The near-term issue is whether stronger lumber trends can carry more of the earnings load while oriented strand board costs remain elevated and management's third-quarter segment outlook stays mixed.
