ROSWELL — More than two dozen handwritten commitments on paper covered much of the wall. They ranged from “listening with love and responding with concrete action” to meeting neighbors’ needs “without reservation and without judgment.”

At the exit of the “People of Hope” museum, visitors were invited to complete prompts such as “I will create hope by …” and “I will live as Jesus did.”
