Dr. Bunin brings a distinctive combination of lived experience to this work. She is a retired Army colonel, critical care physician, psychiatrist, and certified executive coach with more than two decades of military service. She is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed her medical training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Over the course of her career, she directed ICUs, residencies, and fellowships, and served as an assistant dean for faculty development and professor of medicine. She deployed to Iraq as a psychiatrist and to Afghanistan as an intensivist. She now brings her background in psychiatry, critical care, and coaching to the work of developing healthcare leaders. She is also a three-time cancer survivor, a fact that has profoundly shaped her understanding of vulnerability, communication, and power across every dimension of the clinical relationship. She is currently co-founder and chief architect of All Levels Leadership, a leadership coaching and consulting firm.
