SHREVEPORT, La. — An employee of the Shreveport Police Department has been arrested following a domestic violence investigation.According to police, officers responded to a domestic violence call in the 900 block of Lazy Wood Lane at approximately 10 p.m. yesterday. During the investigation, officers learned that off-duty SPD dispatcher Trashae Wallace had been involved in an altercation with a family member.Investigators determined Wallace allegedly committed a battery against the victim. Wallace was arrested and charged with one count of simple battery.Police Chief Wayne Smith immediately placed Wallace on administrative leave following notification of the arrest. The department’s Internal Affairs Bureau will also conduct an administrative investigation into the incident.Wallace has been employed by the Shreveport Police Department for approximately four years.The department said the matter will be addressed through both the criminal justice system and its internal administrative procedures.

BASIN, Wyo. — Investigators in Big Horn County are taking another look at a death near Basin that has gone unsolved for more than five decades.

NORRIS, Mont. - Human remains found in the Revenue Flats area in August 2025 were just identified as a man reported missing nearly five decades ago, according to a press release from the Madison County Sheriff's Office (MCSO). The Madison County Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains as Clayton Quayle, reported missing 47 years ago, and also determined that his cause of death was homicide.
