(The Center Square) – A classic cars bill introduced in 2025, nicknamed “Leno’s Law” after famed late-night comic Jay Leno, might get another shot at passing into law this year.

Senate Bill 1392, co-authored by Sen. Dave Cortese, D-San Jose and chair of the Senate Transportation Committee, and Sen. Shannon Grove, R-Bakersfield, will face its make-or-break moment in the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Thursday, the last hurdle the bill needs to clear before the full Assembly votes on it. The Senate has already approved it.
