BELLE CHASSE, La. — The military air base in Belle Chasse is set to receive fresh squadrons of fighter jets designated for U.S. Navy and Air Force reservists stationed at the facility. The former leader of the Navy squadron, who operated behind the scenes to secure these aircraft, noted that their arrival will secure the long-term viability of the installation.

Details regarding the jet acquisitions emerged during the semi-annual forum of the Louisiana Military Advisory Council, an event that gathered civilian and military leaders from across the state.
