SHREVEPORT, La. - Amazon plans to invest an additional $6 billion in its northwest Louisiana data center development, bringing the company's total planned investment in the region to $18 billion, officials announced Tuesday.

The expansion includes a third data center campus at Resilient Technology Park in Shreveport. The project is expected to create 210 direct jobs and an estimated 499 additional indirect jobs, for a total of 709 potential new jobs.
