SHREVEPORT, La. — A local business is making a major name for itself across the country by helping hunters stay comfortable and concealed in the woods.
The Antler Shed Deer Blinds, based in Shreveport, manufactures 100% steel hunting blinds designed to last a lifetime. Founded by local hunters, the company sets itself apart from traditional plastic stands by offering heavy-duty construction backed by a 40-year warranty.
The blinds feature a fully carpeted interior that regulates moisture and dampens sound. They also feature tinted, sliding window systems designed to minimize movement and sound when aiming at a target.
Operating out of their facility on Antoine Boulevard, owner Danny Weaver and General Manager Hunter Brown have expanded the hometown operation significantly. The Antler Shed now distributes its American-made blinds through dozens of certified dealers spanning the South and the Midwest.
The company offers several different sizes and configurations, including specialized options for both rifle and archery hunters.
