SHREVEPORT, La. — Local law enforcement officers are asking for help locating a woman accused of using another person's personal information to open a utility account.
The Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force is searching for Dominique Sullivan, who is wanted on a charge of identity theft.
Investigators stated that Sullivan opened a SWEPCO utility account at a home on Encina Drive by fraudulently using someone else's name, birth date and Social Security number. The unauthorized account racked up $1,193.89 in losses.
Detectives tied Sullivan to the fraudulent account after finding her phone number and email address attached to its creation and management. Recorded phone calls and additional evidence also connected her to the account.
Sullivan scheduled a meeting with detectives for July 15 but did not show up, leading investigators to issue a warrant for her arrest.
Anyone with information about Sullivan's whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tips sent to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous.Â
