MANSFIELD, La. — DeSoto Parish Schools officially welcomed its newest cohort of teachers on July 22 during the district’s annual New Teacher Luncheon, marking the start of their journey in local classrooms.
The gathering allowed district leaders to connect directly with incoming educators, introduce them to DeSoto Parish's core mission and values, and celebrate their entry into the school system.
"As these teachers prepare to make a difference in classrooms across the district, we are excited to support them as they inspire, lead, and help shape the future of our students," district officials said in a statement highlighting the system's commitment to new hires.
The welcoming event serves as a foundational step for educators joining the district, emphasizing community support and professional guidance as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
