BOSSIER CITY, La. — As part of celebrations leading up to America’s 250th birthday, Keep Bossier Beautiful invites the community to take part in a unique project: a community time capsule that will be opened 50 years from now.
Executive Director Lynn Bryan says the goal is to capture what life is like today, encouraging residents to submit letters, photos, or small mementos.
“We are asking our community residents to write a letter to the future,” Bryan said, noting it’s a chance to preserve voices and memories for future generations.
Letters can be emailed to lbryan@keepbossierbeautiful.com or dropped off at the Bossier Sheriff’s Substation on Viking Drive. The time capsule will ultimately be placed at South Bossier Park as part of ongoing improvements to the space.
