SHREVEPORT, La. - The American Rose Center is inviting the community to celebrate America’s milestone birthday with an evening of family fun, patriotic festivities and fireworks during its Red, White & Blooms celebration on Sunday.
The event comes as the nation marks its 250th anniversary, bringing together community members at the historic Shreveport attraction for a celebration centered on patriotism, heritage and family entertainment.
Organizers say Red, White & Blooms will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including a car show, food trucks, vendors, and games. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display lighting up the skies above the gardens.
The celebration will take place at the American Rose Center, located at 8877 Jefferson Paige Road in Shreveport. Patrick Dennis got a sneak peek at the festivities during The Place To Be With Patrick D.
The American Rose Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until noon during its spring and summer season, which runs from April 1 through Oct. 31. Admission to the gardens is $5 per person.
